Chi Yueh Enterprise Ltd. was founded in Pingtung, Taiwan, in 2002 by the president, Mr. Hsu, Chih-Hsien. The exporting volume to Japan increased significantly, so in 2007, Mr. Hsu established Chi Hsin Orchid Nursery Co., Ltd to mainly manage all the exports to Japan.

Chi Yueh specializes in Phalaenopsis orchids as both a grower and supplier. It has dedicated itself to Phalaenopsis for nearly two decades. Besides one tissue culture laboratory, the area of five nurseries is 40,000m² in total, including PEP greenhouses, glass greenhouses, a cooling room, and a propagation laboratory. Now, Chi Yueh has more than 100 employees, and the annual production reaches 4,000,000 plants. All the plants are shipped to 35 countries worldwide.

To actively transform into Intelligent Agriculture, Chi Yueh uses an ERP system to acquire real-time data to effectively manage sales, inventory, and finance. Additionally, Chi Yueh upholds the principle of Eco-Friendly and green building to design all the nurseries and the lab. To save energy and reduce carbon emissions, Chi Yueh utilizes solar energy, a hot-water circulation system, and a parallel connection of heat pumps to replace diesel heating machines.

Chi Yueh also prioritizes employee safety, leading to its SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) certification in 2019.

To express its gratitude to its homeland, Pingtung, Chi Yueh aims to create more jobs, allowing local residents to stay and build their careers without moving elsewhere.
